Wedding Anniversary…

*Keep Smiling, Seeds of Encouragement*

Thank You ❤️ for all the Anniversary well wishes via social media, texts and phone calls along with your prayers😇. I am especially thankful for my Widowed Sisters that reached out to me🥰.

Our Wedding Anniversary has been the most challenging day on this journey as this was Our day when we became One. I am thankful for God’s strength, comfort and Joy.

“Though this journey is long and treacherous, with unexpected twists and turns, when we lean on the Lord’s strength and comfort, it gets better, and joy can still be found. The grief and sadness we have from the loss of our husbands will never go away, but that all-consuming sorrow will if we let Jesus in.” A Widow’s Might Devotional

You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, to the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever.” Psalm 30:11-12 (NKJV)

I took some time after checking in on my Dad to getaway to just reflect and bask in the beautiful memories on what would have been my 25th Wedding Anniversary by going to our favorite spot. I also ended the day with with a couple of my Widowed Sisters for dinner. It is such a blessing to have a circle of women that knows and understands😇.

I Thessalonians 5:11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another.
